Dr. Ryan Randa is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Sam Houston State University. He is the Co-Editor of the Journal of School Violence, the Research Director for the Institute for Homeland Security and an active member of both the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences and the American Society of Criminology. His research interests include victimization, fear of crime, communities and crime, and behavioral adaptation.
