Kayla Morgan is a Student Research Assistant at the Institute for Homeland Security. She is currently a full-time student at Sam Houston State University working toward her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. She plans to graduate in the Spring of 2026 and then go to the Police Academy to pursue a career in Law enforcement. Her time with IHS has been spent focusing on Social Network Analysis of Critical Infrastructure and growing her knowledge in data analytics.
