What is Transportation Systems Sector Critical Infrastructure,
and what does it have to do with Homeland Security?

The Transportation Systems Sector is huge. It includes all of the assets and supporting networks that move people and goods. These systems include industries such as aviation, rail, maritime, shipping, pipelines, physical roads, bridges, airports, waterways, warehouses, and many more assets both physical and virtual. Disruptions to these systems can impact industries, supply chains, and even the global economy. Emergency services and military operations also depend on these systems making them a priority for public safety and national security.

What is the Transportation Systems Security Exchange?

The exchange encourages stakeholders across transportation subsectors to share ideas and work together to elevate cultures of security, resiliency, and business continuity for the entire sector.

Goals of Exchange
